Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored securely hashed).
Audio Content: We store the audio files you upload and the transcriptions and notes generated from them.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including access times and features used.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information directly.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:
  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process your audio files for transcription and note generation
  • Send you important service updates
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve and optimize the Service
  • Respond to your requests and support inquiries

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our Service:
  • AssemblyAI: For audio transcription
  • Anthropic (Claude): For AI-powered note generation
  • Cloudflare R2: For secure audio file storage
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Neon (PostgreSQL): For database hosting
These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
Bring Your Own API Keys (BYOK): If you use the BYOK option and provide your own API keys, your audio data is sent directly from your browser to the third-party providers (AssemblyAI, Anthropic) under your own account. In this case, we do not process or have access to the data transmitted between you and those providers. Your usage is governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your recordings at any time. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, including:
  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS)
  • Secure password hashing
  • Two-factor authentication option
  • Regular security audits

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

You can delete your account at any time through the Settings page in the web application at luavoice.com. Upon deletion, all personal data, recordings, transcriptions, notes, and API keys stored on our servers will be permanently removed within 30 days.
